I was an attorney working in Chicago, Illinois, when I was struck by an illness that left me blind and unable to continue practicing law. I’ve spent the past several years traveling around the world and when I’m not traveling, I divide my time between France and the US. After years of struggling to carve out a new life with a new portfolio of abilities, I embarked upon the path of a writer that has enabled me to bring into focus elements of both my old and new lives.
